Attorney Profile

Erik Kardatzke was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, and has lived in Miami for the past thirty years. After earning his degree from Wichita State University in International Business, he went on to obtain an MBA in International Management from the prestigious Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona. After several years in the business world, Mr. Kardatzke earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 2005.

Erik Kardatzke is a dedicated consumers rights attorney, and in his practice focuses exclusively on consumer law.

Prior to establishing Debt Defense Law, Erik Kardatzke worked as a debt collection attorney for one of the larger debt collection firms in Florida, and litigated thousands of cases as a representative of several well-known credit card companies. Now, Mr. Kardatzke is honored to defend individuals, who in his opinion, are being preyed upon by collection agencies.

Mr. Kardatzke is a member of the National Association of Consumer Attorneys (NACA), and the Florida Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in the Southern District of Florida. Kardatzke practices exclusively in credit card lawsuit defense, and collector harassment FDCPA, FCCPA, and TCPA violations.
